On the Crucifixion

The Crucifixion was God by sending His Son Jesus Christ to die as a substitutionary Atonement on behalf of Sinners. Because Adam the first representive first sinned and us being in him in some mysterious way therefore we also have recieved his guilt. Paul draws this conclusion out in 1 Corinthians 5 with the analogy of the bread. Therefore because Adam sinned none of us have a relationship with God. Death entered the world and spread to all of humanity (Romans 5:12-14). Not only is all of humanity found guilty for surely none of us are born into the world Knowing God, but also through all of our personal sinning (Romans 1:18-2:29) we fall short of the glory of God. Therefore it was completely necessary for the Divine Son of God to come in the flesh. For the blood of goats and bulls were not able to take away sins on behalf of man for they are not human, and also it was necessary because Jesus is also the second person of the Holy Trinity - He is God and so was able to fulfill all righteousness and also take upon Himself the sins of the whole world. Furthermore it was necessary for the Divine Son of God to come and atone for Sins because all of our transgressions are against ultimately an eternal, infinite, Holy God, therefore our sins require a payment that is eternal, infinite, and Holy. Jonathan Edwards speaks well on this issue in His sermon on Ephesians 3.

What does it mean to me when I tag Soli Deo Gloria (for the glory of God alone) at the end of a note or letter?

For one it means that God does all things for his glory. That He is not just the one on the throne up above, but that he is actually orchrastrating every event for His good pleasure sort of like what Acts 4:28. But even further He is workin...g out all things in peoples lives for His name sake for those who are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). Not only does Soli Deo Gloria mean that God works in all things for His glory and pleasure, but it also means that I too as well as others should live for His glory in response to what He does (Romans 6:4). Its not only in response to what He does, although without His work in me I could not positively live for his Glory as Christ now lives forever at the right hand of God, but its I should live for His glory because of who He is - almighty holy infinite God! I am to ascribe to the Lord the value and measure of His intrinsic worth; I am to Worship God by glorify Him and Enjoying Him forever (Psalm 96:7-9). Isaiah 48:9-11

My Apology

Recently this past semester and winter break I have had to deal more with my parents in evangelism. My parents do not believe much of what I say. I would grow frustrated talking with them. This frustration was in part do to a line of thinking that I was dealing with this alone. I would have enjoyed the help of someone coming a long side and speaking to my father as well, but none came to my side. This was primarily the reason why I began to start on my rant on True Calvinism. Also there were other factors as well which played a big role: not knowing what to do in this certain situation. I for one do not like restraints when it comes to women and dating. I feel like I had already had those types of restraints back in high school. This is probably one of the reasons for why I really enjoyed my Discipler who is a reformed baptist. He encouraged me to ask the ladies out on dates, although, I would not do to shyness... At the end of the day God is still good and is still glorified in my life and in my body.
